Photographer’s Note
Here I played with the exposure.
Can you imagine where I was?
I was in the Oyuela. A few steps before this another place.
Also I should confess that I am not sure about this picture. Why? Because is a very simple picture. I think that I should not post this photo (but also is true that in some way I like this photo... perhaps much more the moment than the photo... and that's the reason why I've posted the photo).
Above this mountain is also possible see this, and anothers, tower line. I shot against the Sun in the sunset. I focused to the tower line I after I've played with the levels.
As I am not very conveiced about this shot also I am going to post two WS as a little gift.
They are two very different shot taken just behind the Oyuela. And of course was taken in another moment and another day (the light, you'll see, is very different).
The reason of the WS are that I want share with you some more photos from my summer in Quintanilla del Coco and only there will be nine post more (still I have doubts about the next post... but I think that I will post).
I hope you like it.

I'm glad you decided to post this Carlos, sometimes the simple photos are the best.
Just a shot of an electricity pylon, bit it's silhouetted beautifully against that wonderful evening sky, and I like how you framed it; off-centre with just enough land included at the bottom.
Good one.
Cheers,
Ben

hola carlos,
splendid! the idea, simple one yet very effective,
man, you "harnessed" the sunsets in a perfect way but it is not JUST sunsets that you present, thre is always an idea behind,

Hola Carlos:
Angel.

Interesting work carlos. The placement of the mast a little askew is what doeas it combined with the light, strong colours and contrast. A very good result - top work

It's often the photos we worry about posting that are the most successful. Here you have made a feature out of something we usually try to avoid and it works!! Beautiful skies like this need some foreground silhouettes and this is perfect. Worry no more.

Hello Carlos,
Very nice idea to include the pose as silhouette.
Great colors.

Hola Carlos,

Saludos
PD: Muchas gracias por todo

Hi Carlos,
A powerful shot, especially given the extraordinary lighting. The tower appears as some alien presence, akin to an ancient dinosaur, ruling the earth - and indeed given how dependent civilization is upon power and how fragile we are when electricity is turned off, perhaps this tower symbolizes control and absolute power. The low angle perspective, with the sliver of foreground and magnificent sky, is effective and delivers high impact. Yes, its a keeper, Carlos.

Buona Sera Carlos,

Saludos, Yvonne

I like the two atmospheres you have caught here Carlos. Firstly the serenity and pleasant feeling which a sunset gives, to the stormy and atmospheric clouds right above us, with the light in the sky almost directly above the power pole. A great shot.
