Photographer’s Note
In some way what we see in this photo is something very traditional here.
Not only traditional, still remains inside the daily life of these people (specially women).
Inside these walls, these gothics walls I mean, the life of this people has continued year after year. They have been baptized, they have been we married, they have dead inside these walls too.
And also they have prayed and belived.
Here you could find part of the history of this village and its people. Its history and also traditions and culture.
Between this walls plenty of art take place the long history of this village and its people. In some way inside these walls there is art, culture, tradition and also life.
In some way we should learn to contemplate these places with differents eyes. Only then we can enjoy them.
I hope you like it.
(only a few shots more and I will finish this serie about Cocolandia)

Hi Carlos
Great atmosphere here, very tranquil and somewhat pleasant. I like the compo here with these candles in the foreground reflected clearly in the depth. And this BW conversion is superb. Great shot, tfs!
Cheers,
CheukHin

Hi Carlos - an excellent B&W image. Lots of contrast & tone here, I like the chosen viewpoint with the bright candles providing the strong contrast against the darker background. Interesting notes too.

Hola tu.

Hey Carlos. I like how you set the shot up around those candles in the foreground. I've seen others use a polarizer when they knew they were going to make it b/w later on and I think you got a good result with that installed. Some of the shadows could stand to be lightened though. Nice shot Carlos.

Hola Carlos,
Beautiful bw today. The conversion does suit the subject very well, the feeling of the old church is right here in me, the fragrance of the incense and candles of the churches in Europe I love so much. Indeed a place of contemplation, a whole history behind them, prayers told and answered, children baptized and old buried, all there. A very beautiful shot, filled with atmosphere.
Take care,
sasa

Hola Dionisio
La verdad es que la foto es demasiado religiosa para mi gusto incluso me da un poco de yuyu tal vez sea por la oscuridad y el blanco y negro aunque creo que el b&n es lo ás acertado aqui.
Nos vemos

Hola Carlos
Nice relegion atmoshere in your b&w photo, i think that it would be the same nice if it was in color.
Doesn't polarizer make your speed too slow indoor?

Hola Carlos:

I Hear the sledges with the bells-
Silver bells!
What a world of merriment their melody foretells!
How they tinkle, tinkle, tinkle,
In the icy air of night!
While the stars that oversprinkle
All the heavens, seem to twinkle
With a crystalline delight;
Keeping time, time, time,
In a sort of Runic rhyme,....the photo and the note reminded me by this poem Bell for Edgar allen poe..
ur right being in a place where ppl are born , married and died is something that makes u stop a side out of the picture ..out of life and just observe
