Photographer’s Note
Cocolandia again!!
This path is called the “camino real” (the royal path) and is placed between Santo Domingo de Silos and Quintanilla del Coco. Once time you arrive to Quintanilla del Coco this same path continues to another villages. But this part is best of the path.
Why?
Because crosses all the valley.
Once time I was there.
Walking.
Was the first day that I was taken photos with the new lens and polariser. I spent a long time in the walk and finally the end of the day was everytime nearest.
Then I look at the sky.
The photo was taken against the Sun and I’ve underexposed the sky.
Anyway, the moment was really spectacular.
Far from the big cities the light and the sky are different.
I like not only the sky and the light, also the straw at the left of the path, the same path, the fields and, finally the mountains and forest at the both sides.
Behind the right mountain is placed Quintanilla del Coco.
If you can, enjoy it.
(Sergio, m’havies de dir alguna cosa?)

A beautiful place enhanced by the impressive and dramatic sky and the colors. Excellent picture Carlos.

hola carlos,
when looking at the thumbnail i was affraid of "oh no, yet another cute, postcardish sunset" but hell no, it is outstanding, it is so DIFFERENT, so artistic;
i think that the crescent road and the haypile do the trick here that this image is not just a use of "nicely arranged natural factors" but instead it is a well and carefully thought over and composed photo;
bravo,
and saludos, j.

Hola carlos
The clouds looks as if the are at low altitude and that is another reason why it looks so great.
Very well done

What drama you have captured in the sky. The contrast between the black, black clouds and the slice of light is amazing. The composition with the lead-in path and the hay-bales is very good.

Hola Carlos. A fine new impression from Cocolandia, the evening mood with the fire-like light in the sky battling the layer of clouds creates a quite dramatic impact on the gentle landscape. Good use of the curving path to lead the viewer's eye into this rather gripping scene.

Hola Carlos.

Buena foto, Carlos. Un saludo,
Angel.

Hi, Carlos.
Beautiful light and colours.
Cocolandia must be a beautiful country.
I like the part which is not the sky from the bottom to the top, with the symetric path and the haystack and all those trees on the grass in the far distance. Beautiful.
take care, Aleks

Hi Carlos
A dramatic scene captured here. I love the effect of the light on the horizon and in the upper part of the sky. The colour cast is complimentary too and brings out the scene with good impact. A great atmospheric piece. Well done.

Hola Carlos,
Buen tiro amigo!
Saludos

Hi Carlos,
Dramatic tones and hues highlight this interesting shot, which carries quite an air of mystery and intrigue. The bales of hay on the left perfectly balance the frame, while the road takes the eye and the heart along into the frame to walk forever in this light, through the darkness. Interesting shadow effects with an amazing degree of discernible detail. Well captured.

Ola Carlos,
I am about to see you personally in minutes from now and I wanted to look at one of your last picture. This is how I discovered this Cocolandia one which has an eery atmosphere as if shot for a great novie. The Camino Real has many assets to become a proze winner.

Hello Carlos,
you've got a really impressive and spectacular view here! Very well captured and managed with the cpl filter. Fantastic light and great colours. Maybe another title would be more appropriate: Is this the end of the world? Very nice one!
Tfs and have a nice weekend.

Hello Carlos,
this is a beautiful place for sure! You captured a fine moment in your life right there! I like the sun very strong and orange and the red/orange tone it gives to the overall scene. It was a god idea to be careful that the straw does not interfere with the sun...However, you could have put more emphasis on this detail by just lowering a bit the point of view so that it just interfere with the hill on the back. But maybe you would have lost the beautiful red refelction on the top of the strw by doing it, I don't know.Speaking of the hills, very nice that the red color follow their shape on the left...
This is finely balanced composition and a heck of an exposition to have this contrast, Bravo!!!
Marc
