Photographer’s Note

I am not sure if you know, but my photos are saying that I love this place. Really a great and big place.
In some way is far from the civilization. But that civilization comes here.
And in some the civilization also comes from here (its rich history is a good proof).

In this valley there’s the most important romanesque cloister in all Spain and every year receives 90.000 visits. But in all the valley, nearly 8 km long, there are less than 300 people (and perhaps less than 200).
Even then, still there are places like this one inside the valley. Just in the middle of the valley. There is no people and is a fantastic place.

In some way I like show to all of you this place.
But at the same time I would like that this place could be still a place for the people who lives there.

Difficult, yes. But I prefer show to you this place and all the valley.
Anyway, keep the secret!!!

Good depth, in this superb landscape, with excellent sharpness & horizontal layering. I like the reddisg brown colour of the dried fg grass & small building at left. Tfs!

funny - you showing us this place and saying to keep away from there... if can't be there i'm glad i've seen this place on your photo.
nice post processing, it looks like sky is burning. i think you went one or two steps too far - in my opinion is too redish. but anyway i like your photo a lot - especially - that i can't be there.

Como va todo. Sin duda la foto está realmente bien la proporción y el paisaje está genial. La composición con el elemento de la casita le da un toque clasico pero muy chulo. Supongo que la hora de la foto sería al atardecer y por eso la iluminación por la parte superior es algo más escasa aunque de ese modo le aporta algo de misterio.
Pues ale a currar...

Be quiet i'll keep the secret but i may come one day...the POV is perfect,golden fields and little off centered chapel,i like your PP...may be to strong in the top..to dark to be readable..a question of taste,the effect is impressive for sure,

Hola Carlos,
impresionantes la luz y los colores en esta composición. El paisaje es fantástico, con un gran contraste entre los tonos dorados de los campos segados y el bosque, con la bonita iglesia rompiendo la uniformidad, y el cielo tan oscuro con unas nubes que no daban mucha tranquilidad.
Buena foto de un bello paisaje.

Another very dramatic color and light setting on this landscape with the cloister, very wide view on several layers, the yellow sun enlightened field in front is a nice intro to the dark threatening sky, strong mood Carlos.

This is wonderfully atmospheric, the dramatic light has transformed this rural scene and really brought it to life.
The warmness of the light and colours gives this a restful friendly atmosphere, and at the same time the darkness of the sky and the shadows gives it a slight air of forboding.
