Photographer’s Note
There is a cruel story about my village. A few centuries ago there was a girl. She was really pretty (as all Cocoland’s girls). She, her father, her mother and all her relatives were from Cocoland. And suddenly appeared a small, dirty and silly man. His name was Rondondo Pitufo, but his “friends” (really he had no friends) called him Quasimodo. His friends didn’t call him... he hadn’t friends.
He was very ugly and his smell was terrific.
But he fall in love of that pretty girl.
People in Quintanilla was quite angered. And Rodondo was a pain in the neck.
Finally a very big mass (between five thousand and six thousand people) take away the infamous Rodondo.
He was forbidden to come to Cocoland and he and all his family was exiled.
Then Rodondo walked and walked. No one liked him, and he and all his family were walking for two years.
The second anniversary of the exile they said: “We are going to stay here”. It was a place without people, with ugly landscape,... it was the place that no one would choose to live. It was a pound with hundreds of vultures and snakes.
They called this place Macastre.
I want to dedicate this picture to our mate Oscar who is from Macastre.
I hope you like it.
PD: the photo was taken at the afternoon and there was no light on the sky, look how the street lights of the village have been lit on.

Salut Carlos
I like the soft light you get here with a nice cloud over the landscape. There is a cold atmosphere in the picture.
Well done

Aix...sometimes the people is ill...and that's what happened with Carlitos (coco-man for all the TE-members).
I have another theory of the story of your town.
Oscar and his relativies were genious and people interested in science and we took part in hundreds, well really thousands, experiments abuot the human race...and one of them created prototype called Coco007. Why 007? It was the seventh "subject"...and they finally got the result the want: something so ugly and brainess to work as a slave for the humanity.
But, they could't work with...we was so, so, so...dumb and we decided to abandon him to his fate in a remote area of Spain: Burgos.
What happened then? Who knows. The only truth is that there's a town near there called Quintallilla.
Can someone explain us how has appeared that town?
Here we can see the main road of the "big city", surrounded by trees in a place where nobody stops....

Hola Carlos, wonderful sense of trecking in winter in your village as the night is arriving. Well, it's not yet winter but I see the snow, so for me it's like winter. The lights showing up and the sky still blue. Lovely mood.
un abrazo,

You are naughty Carlos! :D I was reading your note seriously for a minute!
I love how the icy path shines and leads the eye to the illuminated church. The gathering darkness and the blue hour sky combine to help create an atmospheric image.

Hola Carlos,
Esta foto me encanto mucho. Nice POV with the road leading in, nice and dark winter tones, and the lenticular cloud is a bonus. Atmospheric.

THE TRUE STORY OF COCOLANDIA...
Finally ... I have an obligation to explain to all friends-members of TE... the true story of Cocolandia, Coco and Oscar ...
I explain:
Quintanilla is a village near Atapuerca. The Atapuerca Mountains containing several caves, where are the oldest fossils of the Human of West Europe.
The most famous site in Atapuerca is the "Sima de los huesos". The Excavation team has located more than 5500 human of at least 350,000 years old ... and there is where today live our friends of the TE ... Coco and Oscar... they attack us with their photos ... The Excavation team sent us for all friends-members of TE this picture of Coco and Oscar from Atapuerca... in WS
PD: For the good moments that make us with their stories... y porque seguro que habréis soltado alguna risas de este rollo que os he pegado... y por si no hablamos antes... os deseo una Feliz Navidad! Un besote a los dos!
Gemma
PD: Carlos, como siempre, la foto me gusta!

Hi Carlos
In spite of the cruel story, there is still life there.
But very nice picture in the dark afternoon with an interesting perspective of the road and very good lights management.
Best regards.

Hola Carlos,
Rondondo Pitufo???? ;o)
conyes a part, la foto té alguna cosa molt especial, potser la maca perspectiva, les cases il.luminades i el seu contrast amb el paisatge, o la llum a l'hora blava.
M'agrada, és maca.
Salut

Hola Carlos...

Diane
¡ La historia me hizo muchos reírme!
