Hi Carlos,

My God, I already get tired just looking at this picture! ;-) That does surely look like a beautiful experience. I can just imagine the sound of breathing, of the shoes sinking in the snow, of the wind. The feeling of being totally alone in the middle of nowhere. The picture shows all of that and more! The light ahead, like leading you to your destination. The sharp contrast, the silouette, the feeling of movement. Great shot!

Nice action shot of mountain climbing. The figure bending over in effort and struggle really communicates the difficulty well. I like the choice to shoot into the light too. Well done!

I wish you had a bit more space on the bottom and on the right, to avoid cropping the main character.

However, this is a minor detail because the photo is just beautiful! Very evocative and strong image. Congratulations!

Wow, spectacular shot and how nice to see another post from you, Carlos. I loved your note and yes, I can understand the feelings you describe. Mountain climbing is what I like more to do and I'm surprise to see this one from your favorire place on earth. I did't think that you had such an enviornment that seems like Himalayas :)

Si se me permite, una foto impresionante, de bellos colores y de una magnifica composición, da hasta la sensación cuando la miro de notar el sufrimiento del montañero al subir la montaña nevada, y ese cielo parece que se va a caer, me encanta.

Hola Carlos, ..... estoy de acuerdo con Barrufeto, quizas un poco fuerte el fogonazo del Sol, al margen de esto es un encuadre de que gusta mucho, la silueta de tu compañero en plena ascensión al pico recortada sobre la nieve y las nubes son de un fuerte efecto dramático que también me gusta.

Enhorabuena por la foto y por la excursión.

The colored light in the sky and on the snow, gives a dramatic feel together with your low POV on the man in counterlight with still a red detail, very impressive Carlos.

Hola Carlos,
malgrat la dificultat que sempre dóna la neu i la llum directa del sol entre els núvols a les fotos de muntanya, crec que te n'has sortit prou bé.
Captes perfectament l'ambient d'una ascensió, i la progressió per la neu, que sempre és pesada.
L'efecte misteriós de la llum cremant un tros de cel i formant les siluetes és molt gràfic i interessant. A més, el cansament quan ja s'arriba al cim afegeix més problemes a l'hora de fer fotos, ja que la respiració i el pols van accelerats.
Ben feta.

pensaba que era una foto del polo norte pero veo que no. El tipo de foto, la luz y demás, podria corresponderse con un fotograma de una peli de ciencia ficción. Me gusta como haces de lo cercano algo exótico o especial

Hoy toca observar esta, sin duda transmite sensaciones fuertes, la composición, la perspectiva y la atmósfera que ha creado la luz, nos traslada al lugar que nos muestras de una forma interesante, ¿tenias fuerzas para levantar la cámara y disparar? sin duda es un gran trabajo, diferente y bien ejecutado.
