Photographer’s Note
This is Burgos.
Last weekend I have been in this city and you know that is the most beautiful city of Spain and the second one of the world (the first one is Cocoland).
A few weeks ago I was invited to a party and that was the reason of my presence there, this weekend. But before the party I spent a few minutes in the afternoon with the camera in the center of the city. I moved there with the camera and the tripod and I make a few shots. The cathedral, this bridge and the Espolón avenue were my goals. And, as you can see, the light not was very good... but even then there was something nice in that soft and candid light.
It was funny because someone ask me about the camera. He was waiting to some friends because they were learning about photography and their lessons were shooting with a teacher.
They were nearly ten people and they looked amused with their photos in front the cathedral and it was nice.
Also I want to dedicate this picture to the “six musketeers” (please, don’t ask) and also to our “friend” (I don’t know why I call him in this way) Òscar who has spent two days in the jail. Two policemen caught him while he made wee-wee on the main door of the Sagrada Familia. In Barcelona it is forbidden , you cannot do that in the street... but it’s even worst when you do at midday, drunk and with hundreds of visitors in the cue around you.
Maybe some of those visitors is or will be a TE member: please, don’t post that photo if you have.
I hope you like it.

Hello Carlos
Very nice place and dramatic photo. I like very much the light came out of the sky and the magenta color of the river.

hehe, nice to see you with sense of humor, Carlos. The picture is actually kind of strange with this dificult light and weather. I still like the perspective and resulted mood but it's far from your best and especially from your wonderful pics of cocoland.
un abrazo,

Poor Oscar. I wonder how he will retaliate!
This kind of light is becoming your trademark. Your POV from a bridge works well to allow you to use the perspective of the river to lead the eye into the scene. The slow shutter has smoothed the water out for a good effect.

Hola Carlos!

The depth in the picture is amazing! Gloomy bur sharp colors; I love the ferocity of the sky! Thank you for sharing! Regards Stella

Nice view, and a good idea to shoot looking up the river, using the reflection of light there to lighten the entire photo. The buildings are a bit too far away to get much sense of the city, but the setting is quite attractive. Well done!

Hola Carlos.
Original imagen con esa toma en vertical, que capta un pequeño tramo del río mientras al fondo aprecio una abigarrada multitud sobre el puente. ¡Pues sí, salieron todos!.
Es broma.
Saludos, JL.
