My last photo of the year.


With this photo I want show you a very nice place and also special for me: Burgos.
And also I want ask you a question:
What happens when there is Sun and rain at the same time?

In this square you can see the council town of Burgos and also this place was, time ago, the market of the city.
This city has a very rich history and there are very importants gothics elements remembering its old and important past.
And the most important is visible from here: the cathedral of the city (the most important of all Spain).

The gothics elements are a proof of the rich past of the city.
In the medieval period Burgos was the capital of Castile and also one of the most important places in the road of Santus Iacobus (in spanish called “el camino de Santiago”). Also was very important because of its commerce.


About the photo: only a few minutes before I had arrived to Burgos (the next day I was going to go to Cocolandia) and I wanted use for first my polariser. But then... began the rain.
I was in the Main Square (plaza mayor) and protected of the rain I make a few photos. I saw people in the square and I though that could be nice.

But the most strange: at the same time was rainning and also there was a nice Sun over us.

But... I must say that there is something very annoying: the street lamps in the center of the square.

Mi última foto del año.

¿Alguien me sabría decir que pasa cuando llueve y hace sol al mismo tiempo?
La respuesta la tenéis aquí y esto es también un lugar muy especial para mi (donde preferiría estar ahora antes que en Barcelona).

Ésta es la plaza Mayor de Burgos. Lugar en donde está el Ayuntamiento y lugar que recoge gran parte de la vida e historia de esta ciudad.
Durante el periodo medieval Burgos fue una ciudad muy rica (los monumentos góticos son un ejemplo de esta riqueza). Capital de Castilla, centro comercial (en la plaza tenía lugar el mercado de la ciudad) y lugar de paso del Camino de Santiago. Sin duda, la ciudad más importante de toda la zona.

Al fondo además se puede ver el edificio que más fama da a la ciudad. Se puede contemplar las torres de la catedral más importante de España. Torres que responden al gótico flamígero (que provenía del norte de Europa).


Sobre la foto: llovía, pero a la vez había un Sol radiante. Solo hacía unos minutos había llegado a Burgos (al día siguiente iría a Cocolandia) y quería estrenar mi nuevo polarizador. Pero comenzó a llover.
Protegido en unos soportales disparé varias veces: había gente bajo la lluvia y me parecía muy atractivo.

Aunque... eso sí, las farolas aquí sí que me parecen muy molestas (y antiestéticas para la foto).
