This is the Santa Ana Pension in Avila. I think this is not expensive inn, but it locates not so far from the railway station, near the Central part of Avila.
I can't give you recommendations, but I like this nice hotel. From the outside, at least.

A very beautiful building seen form interesting POV. I prefer such kind of the architecture than very modern buildings with 50 floors :-) and like in your every photo beautiful colours, composition and sharpness.
All the best,
PS. My photo of the blacksmith was not stylised. I'm surprised myself that this photo came out in such manner :-). I used cropping and shake reduction filter, only and I increased the exposition. It's all

hello Mr I.F.,
it is indeed very nice pension and it could be nice to stay there. beautiful composition in fabulous colours. And you had wonderful weather. I remember it was awfully cold when I was in Avila.
After four months at home I am very I.F.

I'm surprised this hasn't received more feedback prior to my note...do you think because it's a picture of a pension?? I find it rather intriguing, because it's a pleasing display of the buildings architecture taken with a wide viewpoint that opens up the frame leading in opposite directions down both streets....kind of a "fish eye" perspective, but without the rounded distortion. It may not be a particular building of interest or have historical value per se, but you've presented it in a fine manner with compositional regard and balanced exposure.
I can make out some dust spots in the sky, but those can be corrected and is but a minor adjustment. The blue sky compliments the muted tones of the building nicely in contrast and everything appears detailed...not to mention, it's a great suggestion and advertisement for anyone wanting to visit! :) Enjoy the day ahead.

We see clear a hotel out of the fifties or maybe older.
But a lovely architecture picture, nice decorative balcony in foreground
Also the quality and colours are very pleasant to look at.
Excellent composition, nice presentation, I can enjoy of this splendid work.
Very well done, TFS.
Nice day today,

I love your chosen point of view on this, it makes me think of the FLatiron building in New York :) Great that we can see down both streets, and the light and shadow combination of the two facades adds a lot to the scene.
All the best

This one jumped out at me in your recent gallery. Good sharpness and nice use of lead in lines and diminishing linear perspective. I like the angled pov on this distinctive building. A superb warm cold color contrast between the blue sky, salmon pink facade and the yellow lettering. Tfs!

Good tourism view of the Santa Ana Pension, with clean lines and Spanish modern architecture, and especially interesting for the triangular corner construction.
Los Angeles had a classical century old brick building on a triangular corner near City Hall, which was their Hall of Records. But a powerful developer tore it down and replaced it with a non descript ugly rectangular building, back in 1972. California is now more likely to protect famous historical buildings, but no guarantee.
I have been speaking up to save Sacramento's famous classical brick rail station which developers have plans to tear down and replace with apartments and businesses. There is plenty of land around the station to permit a compromise incorporating this valuable historical asset, blending with modern architecture.
Anyway, fine presentation,
