Photographer’s Note

Hoy presento una composición de 2 fotos ensambladas con Autostitch, tomadas en otra zona con unos bellos molinos de viento, Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real), de la que ya he presentado otras fotos aquí, y que es una verdadera maravilla, por su paisaje de llanuras de La Mancha y su impresionante cielo.

Las medidas de la foto panorámica resultante no me han permitido subir la Large Version, lo siento.

En los WS presento las dos fotos originales con las que he realizado el stitch.

En este mismo lugar tomé fotos en 2006, y esta foto que he presentado a un concurso de fotografía de Turismo Activo en Castilla-La Mancha, ha ganado el primer premio.

Es la primera vez que una foto mía es premiada en un concurso de fotografía, y eso me hace muy feliz.

Today I present a composition of 2 photos assembled with Autostitch taken in another zone with a few beautiful windmills, Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real), of which already I have presented other photos here, and that is a real marvel, because of its landscape of plains of La Mancha and its impressive sky.

The size of the panoramic resultant photo has not allowed me to upload a Large Version. I’m sorry.

In the WS I present both original photos with which I have fulfilled the stitch.

In the same place I took photos in 2006, and this photo that I have presented in a photography contest of Active Tourism in Castile-La Mancha, has won the first prize.

Is the first time that a photo of mine is rewarded in a contest of photography, and it makes me very happy.

The sky on this picture is really splendid.
I also like that landscape where the windmills form the skyline.
Where in Spain can we see the most windmills: in Campo de Criptana or in Consuegra ? Or in another place ? Thanks.

Josep,
Your composition is great using the windmills to create a diagonal through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The sky is great and tops off the shot beautifully. Instead of the car you should have had Don Quixote on his horse!

Excelente imagen que muestra el lugar ha servido de escenario para algunas de las aventuras de Don Quijote. Me gusta ver estes molinos de viento del Campo de Criptana que inspiraron a Cervantes. Muy buena profundidad, nitidez y maravillosos colores.

The beauty of the landscape is very much in the sky, that is complementing the fields so well colour wise!
The vast land seems to stretch into eternity, and the windmills offer a welcome opportunity to rest my eyes...

Explendida esta panoramica con una gran profundidad de las llanuras de la Mancha, seguias teniendo un cielo espectacular, igualmente buenas las dos fotos del workshop, la 2ª me parece magnifica en su tamaño.
Felicitaciones por ese premio, no conozco la foto, pero suguro que sera explendida y con un original POV.

Windmills make such excellent photos and you were also lucky here to have a really great sky. I like your choice of presenting the perspective view where the windmills diminish insize as our eye travels across the image. Well done with the stitch too.

I am extremely happy about your winning the first prize in the competition...richly deserved & the photograph is fantastic! This one's excellent as well, in pano format, with flawless stitching. Only think I feel is the sharpness is a bit lacking & you could have pushed the contrast a wee bit to have some punch in the colour especially the sky!

Cette photo des moulins de la Manche nous renvoie au chevalier à la triste figure et à son combat contre les géants. Le format est bien choisi pour cette large vue sur ce paysage. Le ciel est superbe.

No és la primera vegada que veig els molins de vent de Campo de Criptana, però aquí et presenten un panorama de gran bellesa. Només el cotxe no és part de la màgia.
(Aquesta vegada no veig el Quixot :-)
