Photographer’s Note
-----------
This photo is the second part of my titled work “ the arm of the giant ” and also is taken in the hill called Cerro Calderico, where they are the windmills and a magnificent castle in Consuegra, province of Toledo. These mills that Don Quixote thought that they were giant, and whose wings were their enormous arms, against that it fought, and logically, it lost its battle.
Here I have wanted to emphasize only this piece of “ arm ”, in a short plane so that it is possible to be seen how these wings were constructed formerly in wood.
Also I wanted to emphasize the way how this element stands out against the beautiful and clean sky of La Mancha.
I dedicate the photo to Frank (Buin) who also has put a photo of a wing of mill of Germany, an accidental but likeable fact.

Bonjour Josep
Bien vu, beau travail

Hi Josep - a different view of the windmill, a simple but very effective composition. The detail of the wooden 'arm' is exceptional, well done!

Hallo Josep!
This is a beautiful look - even without clouds! ;-)
The wing is shown very sparp and even the structure of the wood is visible. Great!
Thank you for your dedication!
Greetings from Germany!

Bonjour Josep,

I really love it, Josep. Minimalist and graphical, that allow us to understand better the details of this long arm. Thanks also for the connection to Frank. That's the spirit of sharing that I apreciate here. Congratulations!

Hi Josep!
This one is minimalistic but verry effective and graphic.Your image with the "Biggest enemy" of Don Quixote fits verry well to your theme.Verry nice soft bue color of the sky and I like the little shadows at the wing.

Hi Josep,
I dared to say that this one is the most minimalistic photo that I ever seen on TE.
Not even me wolud dare to make a so simple compostion...ehehe
But I like it very much.
I like the way you've framed the "arm" on the composition.
And the perfect clear sky looks great.

Teresa
