Photographer's Note

Consuegra is located at 704 m. high, in full "Route of Don Quixote" in the region of La Mancha, Amarguillo riverside. It is an easily identifiable location for windmills that line the hill Calderico. The hill was the first settlement since the days of prehistoric transhumance, being a place of great importance as it linked the central plateau south of the peninsula.
The windmills are lined up at the top of the hill Caldera, which has come to be called Crest Mancha. There is a road that crosses part of the castle and all the mills. It was eleven remain thirteen mills that existed in his day.
The mills have names like Sancho Panza, the Turk, the Fox, the First, the White, Bolero (home of the Tourist Office), the Piggy Bank (Museum of piggy banks), Dapple (wine of La Mancha), the Espartero (objects artisans), the Clavileño (Principality of Andorra, which ran with the cost of its restoration) and the Knight of the Green Coat (Biblioteca Cervantes).
The one called Sancho Panza is the best preserved of all machinery and maintains the XVI century in perfect working order.

Good Morning Charo,
A difficult shot with such restricted light but the dramatic scenery has more than compensated. I like how you have captured the f/g hill, with its steep slope almost on a diagonal and the windmills strongly positioned on its crest. It would have been even better if you had been able to place the road emerging nearer to the bottom l/h corner. The guiding road and descending clouds, blurring hills, to the right, give a strong sense of atmosphere and depth.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Charo,
Bravo.
Bonne journée
Amicalement

Hello Charo,
The line of windmills sitting in splendour on top of the hill stands out perfectly against the leaden and misty sky. I appreciate very much the soft light and natural tones. Excellent sharpness throughout.

hello Charo,
I like this simple yet well consisered composition. The tips of the windmill roofs reach for the thirds line and the fold of the hill allows a glimpse of the land beyond. A special rainy day light too.

Bonsoir, mon amie Charo,

Hello Charo,
This is very pastoral and beautiful photograph, so it's impressive and interesting to see a lot of attractive windmills on hill, field and mountain range over there. It's good at composition and keeps an excellent perspective. And, colors are natural and tasteful, too. I'm in memory to have seen the musical of "Man of La Mancha" when I was young.
Kind regards,
mikio

Hola Charo,
Josep
