The locality of Consuegra (Toledo), with a very excellent old town placed on remains of the Roman city of Consaburum, the river Amarguillo divides her in two connected by metallic bridges that today substitute those of Roman origin, knocked down by the flood of the XIXth century. The Arab domination, the later capture by Alfonso VI and the fact that in 1.183 Alfonso VIII was transferring her, together with his castle, to the Hospitable Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, left in Mother of the son-in-law notable architectural traces that they can appreciate going for a walk along the locality or visiting his museum. His interesting monuments, the castle, the military and, defenses especially, the crestería named Hill Calderico, of his wind mills, does of this population an attractive place for tourists and visitors.
