It was not this capricious court summons therefore, like they aim wise historians and geographers, was strategic place on it worn Roman of the Hayfields and, at last, would comply adequate its military function and defensive in the Middle Ages, what conferred him supremacy on the other places of the valley. Etimológicamente, Sigüenza is "the one that dominates the valley".Alot better is known the history seguntina from times on. Mr. Bernardo of Agen, bishop of Sigüenza since 1121, in which was returned the episcopal headquarters, reconquest the city in 1123 and is lodged in the remainders of the church of the Orchards, rebuilding it and walling it.
