Photographer's Note
The name "La Mancha" is probably derived from the Arab word المنشا al-mansha, meaning "the dry land" or "wilderness". The name of the city of Almansa in Albacete also has the same origin. Broadly, it spans the elevated plateau of central Spain, stretching from the mountains of Toledo to the western spurs of the hills of Cuenca, and bounded to the South by the Sierra Morena and to the North by the Alcarria region.
La Mancha is a natural and historical region or greater comarca located on an arid, fertile, elevated plateau (610 m or 2000 ft.) of central Spain, south of Madrid, stretching between the Montes de Toledo and the western spurs of the Serrania de Cuenca. It is bounded on the south by the Sierra Morena and on the north by the La Alcarria region. La Mancha includes portions of the modern provinces of Cuenca, Toledo, and Albacete, and most of the Ciudad Real province. La Mancha historical comarca constitutes the southern portion of Castile-La Mancha autonomous community and makes up most of the present-day administrative region.

Hi Manuel,
amazing landscape. You presented a completely unknown aspect of that region for me.
I like very much the patterns of the fields almost undisturbed with the civilisation. Great colors.
Have a great weekend,

Hola Manuel!
At last, I now know that Don Quixote, Man of La Mancha why :-)
This is an interesting landscape, the soft curves show very nicely. The colors really exist? Rather than on Earth, because, for me. Very nice shadows and different colors.
Have a nice day

Buen trabajo.
Un abrazo,
Josep

Hi Manuel,
The rolling undulations of the hills in layers is wonderful and the gradual shifting colour tones is lovely. I like the strong contrast between the bright stark empty blue sky and the coloured landscape with the trees dotted here and there.

Ola Manuel
That is a dream scenery, La Mancha, which I visited, when I was very young, almost 40 years ago. It looks so graceful, and reminds me of the Don Quijote and also of songs of Jacques Brel. Your sandy layers are working wonders interwoven with / I guess / olive trees, set against the deep blue sky. Excellent POV and DOF. Well done

Bonjour Manuel,
