Photographer’s Note

Along with Vega del Codorno and 80 Km. of Cuenca, penetrating into the saw we find one of the most attractive places conquenses, where the river Cuervo, along with his birth, precipitates his waters that are going to throw oneself over a cliff from high cornices giving place to capricious formations of a spectacular beauty.

This is the entry to visit the birth of the river Cuervo, an agreeable walk up to coming to the cascades in a spectacular day both for the sun and for the temperature; the two previous days he was snowing and hope that the time should improve to come so far, but it was worth it.

A beautiful reminder of the season to come. The old winter road is framed beautifully by the tall evergreens that cast beautiful shadows to soften the noon day sun. Excellent colors and sharpness to this fine composition.

Parece raro ver la nieva ahora y tanta nieva en España. Vi la fecha y claro en febrero 2006 era normal. La luz fuerte da un ambiente caliente y me gusta el contraste entre el cielo y la nieve. Mucha profundidad tambien.

Cuanta nieve! Me encantan los abetos cargados del blanco elemento. Supongo que en el centro de la foto hay un camino completamente tapado. Si no me dices que se trata de cuenca, bien podría ser una foto de algún rincón de Avila, pues aquí, ya sabes, esto es muy habitual. Siempre que nieva la gente se arma con sus cámaras y salen a la calle a fotear, y lo curioso es que cada año aumenta el efecto llamada de la nieve sobre la fotografía. ¿Tendrá la nieve una especie de imán para las cámaras de fotos?...
