Photographer’s Note

Hoy cambio de lugar otra vez, y vuelvo a mis fotos de la ciudad de Cuenca. Ésta es una foto tomada al anochecer el último día del viaje, y era como una despedida de un lugar tan bello que nos dejó un gran recuerdo.
Era la última visión de este lado de la ciudad colgada sobre el río Huécar, con su bella y cálida iluminación, de la que ya he presentado varias fotos, y de la que todavía me quedan algunas más para presentaros próximamente.

El WORKSHOP es la foto tomada al día siguiente, muy temprano por la mañana, y antes de emprender el viaje de regreso a casa. Fue como otra emocionante despedida. En ella se puede ver el contraste entre la misma imagen fotografiada de noche o de día.

Today change of place again, and I return to my photos of the city of Cuenca. This one is a photo taken at dusk the last day of the trip, and it was like a goodbye of a so beautiful place that it left a great memory us.
It was the last vision of this side of the city hung on the Huécar river, with its beautiful and warm illumination, of that already I have presented several photos, and of that still I have left some more for present to us next.

The WORKSHOP is the photo taken on the following day, very early in the morning, and before undertaking the trip from return home. It was like another exciting goodbye. In her the resistance between the same image photographed at night can be seen by day or.

Beautiful warm colours that work well against the cool sky. I love how the deep shadows enhance the mystery of this old building!

Bonjour Josep,
capture délicieuse des lumières du soir, avec leurs teintes chaudes, un véritable village de poupées que se dresse plongé dans le roc.
Excellent POV idéalement placé et le cadrage dévoile aussi une grande partie de ce village.
J'aime les contrastes avec les couleurs du ciel.

Olá Josep,
Muito bonita esta vista de Cuenca já com as luzes acessas.
Gosto muito desta hora de transição quando as luzes se acendem mas ainda não é noite...normalmente resulta sempre em boas fotas...e esta não é excepção.
Gosto dos tons quentes que as luzes projectam nos edifícios.

Again one more beautiful night scene is from Cuenca. I like your same level with buildings and well illuminated façades while sky is still with sun rays. Well illuminated buildings are help to us recognizing the restaurant from one of your early posts. Your day post in workshop version is also very nice from same point. Congratulations.

Cuenca debe ser un sitio precioso. Aqui me gusta como has capturado las luzes encendidas. El sacarlo a anochecer fue una idea buena. Las casas son magnificos. Parecen que son parte de la roca.

Excellent idea to show the same scene night & day. I prefer the night one where you have chosen your time carefully to take advantage of some remaining natural light. The buildings are well lit from below and the interior light are very inviting. The day-time shot gives us more visual information about the place itself.

Hola Josep, it is a wonderful last image for goodbye of this very beautiful small city. This 'blue hour' gave you a marvellous lighting and this general view is very well composed. I love the way the rocky clifs seemed to be mixed up with the buildings. Good shot!

Hi Josep - you've made very good use of the evening light here, with a little natural light left in the sky to help define the shape of the buildings. The illumination provided by the lights is good too.

It's very interesting to see two view of the same place at a different time. So I can appreciate two different atmosphere.
I like this one because of a foreground already in the dark and the sky still clear.

Bela vista esta sobre Cuenca com um jogo de luz e sombra excelentes. Estas casas tipicas e as luzes na rua iluminando as suas paredes criam uma atmosfera lindissima e contrastam perfeitamente com o céu ainda iluminado pela luz natural.

Très joli point de vue sur ce village. La gestion des lumières et des couleurs est parfaitement maîtrisée et donne un résultat que je trouve excellent. En faisant référence à la période actuelle cela fait une peu crêche de Noël. Une belle image Josep bravo et merci pour l'image complémentaire.

Esta imagen es parecida a una que pusiste anteriormente, aunque con un plano mas abierto y por eso me gusta mas, la composición es perfecta y el juego de luces es impresionante, ¿te han dicho ya que parece un portal de Belén? solo falta el herrero dando martillazos :-) realmente es una bonita foto con una perspectiva muy bien elegida, buen tiro!

Quiero que sepas que tus fotos de Cuenca tambien son bienvenidas y más si es para presentar esta calidad. Como bien reflejas en el titulo el gran protagonista es sin duda el cielo pero no debemos olvidar la exposicion y la dificultad de las condiciones de luz. Por todo ello creo que es un gran trabajo de esta panoramica.

Me había perdido alguna foto tuya y la verdad es que siempre es una pena. Recuerdo que ya publicaste alguna desde un punto de vista parecido a este que me pareció igualmente buena.
Es una buena composición, pero lo que realmente admiro en esta foto es la exposición perfeca que consigues, capturando un cielo aún con algo de luz y las farolas seguramente recien encendidas.

Excellent idea to show us the same scene during night & day. The day shot shows us all the details which are naturally more visible. But I definitely prefer the original post the night one. Your timing for the shot is excellent with the sky evidencing vestiges of the natural light, and posing as a beautiful cover for the well lit buildings..the lights are very inviting indeed. Preciosa foto de esta encantadora ciudad tomada al anochecer, la encuentro estupenda y la compones con unos tonos calidos que nos permite disfrutar de tanta belleza. Me gustan las nubes las cuales ayudan la foto en la hora azul. Tu foto en el WS tambien esta excelente.

Beautiful light and wonderful colouring. I like the mixture of warm and cool colours. The pov is superb and allows us to see the whole of this city facade. The shadows are beautiful and create the atmosphere and ambience of this time of day. Well captured.

Josep ce village fait penser aux villages de crêches provençales. Les lumières de la nuit sont présentes et donnent l'ambiance. Le ciel n'est pas encore sombre et c'est ce qui fait l'originalité de la photo.

Magnifique cette capture l'originalité demeure dans le contraste entre le ciel encore très lumineux et ce magnifique village accroché à la montagne pour lequel c'es déjà la nuit.

very good exposure time for this lovely composition. Personaly I like too much blue hour photos (I can say that every third photo of mine is taken in blue hours). You have nice sky and soft light with warm colours. I like it.
