Las fotos de hoy también son del interior del Parador de Cuenca, que ya sabéis que era un antiguo convento construido en 1523 que se rehabilitó para darle un uso hotelero. Pues como todo convento, tenía el comedor de los monjes, llamado refectorio, que ahora es el restaurante del Parador.
La foto os muestra su aspecto actual, con las mesas preparadas y un bello mural que preside el gran salón, realizado con un mosaico de cerámica por una artista contemporánea, de quien no sé su nombre. El resultado es espectacular, como podéis ver en la foto.

En el WORKSHOP 1 veréis un detalle del espléndido techo artesonado de madera del antiguo refectorio, ricamente trabajado y que da un ambiente cálido y confortable al restaurante.

En el WORKSHOP 2 pongo un detalle de la buena gastronomía española, en este caso mediante un plano corto de un helado de queso de La Mancha. Sencillamente delicioso.

The today photos also are of the interior of the Parador of Cuenca, that you already know that was an old convent constructed in 1523 that was rehabilitated to give a hotel use him. The photo shows its present aspect to you, with the prepared tables and a beautiful mural that presides over the great hall, made with a mosaic of ceramics by a contemporary artist, of who I do not know its name. The result is spectacular, as you can see in the photo.

In WORKSHOP 1 you will see a detail of the splendid wood adorned with caissons ceiling of the old refectory, rich worked and that gives a warm and comfortable atmosphere to the restaurant.

In WORKSHOP 2 I put a detail of the good Spanish gastronomy, in this case by means of a short plane of a La Mancha’s cheese ice cream. Simply delicious.
