Hi Miguel,
I too like photos like this. The buildings you have chosen are very colourful, something that we lack in Australia. The balcony's, lamps and iron work give your photo a lot of appeal. Government are very annoying that they place things like stop signs etc in inappropriate places. Nothing we can do about that though. Thank you for sharing.

Cuenca sigue dando buenas fotos. Los colores en las fachadas están muy bien y así las calles no resultan monótonas. Un buen encuadre que le da un aspecto muy gráfico-geométrico y, tan cerrado que, como dices, es una foto sin contexto, más urbana aún. Bien visto. Un beso.

Hola Miguel, this is a wonderful view on these colorful houses (it reminds me of some parts of Rome in this wonderful light). I love the lines here, and the fact that every door or window is surrounded by these white frames.
The 'stop' sign in the light is rather funny.

Hola Miguel,
pues en Cuenca nos tendrían que invitar a algo, ¿no?
Buena toma de estas fachadas de colores que abundan en la ciudad, tiene una gran fuerza plástica y mucho grafismo. El letrero de las fiestas rompe la imagen y resulta atractivo al estar parcialmente iluminado por el sol, ya que parece que estén las bombillas encendidas.
Los colores son cálidos y bonitos, los detalles de los balcones, barandillas, ventanas y farolas añaden muchos buenos elementos para aumentar el impacto de la foto.
Es buena, amigo.

Los edificios y sus colores funcionan muy bien en la foto. Y San Mateo te ha sido propicio para la foto.

Nunca estuve tampoco en Cuenca pese a que la distancia es también , desde aquí , un par de horas . Recuerdo una foto de mi hermano y su novia , justamente con un punto de vista muy parecido al de tu foto , descontextualizando fragmentos de arquitectura y como dices , sin externas referencias .Tambien tendré que ir por allá antes de los 39 .
