Lagoons of Ruidera, an oasis in half of La Mancha, this natural park contains 15 lagoons, that in the photo I show one of them who are called "San Pedra".
Ruidera is a small town of the province of Ciudad Real, with a population of about seven hundred inhabitants, whose economy gravitates, in its practical totality, around the tourism. Guadiana is nailed in the average part of the river basin of the Alto river, giving name to all the lacustrine rosary; river basin that is located in the North part of the Field of Montiel.
This fluvial zone includes an approximated extension of 4,000 hectares, of which 3,772 belong to the NATURAL PARK RUIDERA LAGOONS, thus declared the 13 of 1979 July. In order to visit Ruidera, it is possible to be made by the state highway N/430 (Badajoz-Valencia). If it is from Albacete in direction Badajoz, we located the town to one hundred kilometers of the capital of La Mancha. In opposite sense it is one hundred kilometers of Ciudad Real and Manzanares.
Traveling from Madrid it is acceded from Apple orchards or Villarta of San Juan, locality this one last one where a deviation exists towards Argamasilla de Alba that is to about thirty kilometers of Ruidera.
I hope you like it. |
