Photographer’s Note

Since these very intelligent animals know that they can get food easily from the tourists, they are not afraid of people and I managed to get as close as about 1 meter while this raven was sitting on a road sign. This is how I was able to take this picture from a very good angle with the sky in the background.

hab kurz überlegt, wo der Fokus hingehört, meist aufs Auge, aber in diesem Fall ist der wunderschöne Glanz der Federn wichtiger,...perfekte Perspektive, perfekte Belichtung.

Nice subject for this photo. I really like these birds. I like the B&W and how clearly you see the wings. The less focused head gives one the feeling that this bird could fly at any moment. It really gives this photo life. Nicely done.

Very good composition and also good work with the light and exposure. Also I like the black and white for this composition.
