Plaza de Espana (I) Photo

Photographer’s Note

I am now back in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and my hotel located near the Plaza de Espana, on the seafront. Thus I went out for a few tripod shots.
Plaza de Espana has a large oval pool in the middle, with two large adminsitrative buildings on the right side, the Central post office and another one, next to the tower visible in the background. I have tried two different points of views:
- here, on the side of the pool,
- and in workshop a central point of view with different zooming.

I like the curve of the pool flanked by those lights and the sight of the buildings in the distance, it creates a fine perspective effect and a balanced division between lights and darks. The warm colour of the artificial light creates a fine atmosphere.

à mon avis
la courbe du bassin est certes intéressante mais la partie haute dans la nuit dessert ton POV

The perspective created by the sweeping curve of the pool looks good leading us to the buildings on the other side with good reflections in the water as well. Thanks to your tripod, the exposure is excellent!
