El Parque Nacional de Timanfaya es un área natural altamente protegida el cual solo puede ser visitado en autobús para protegerlo de las agresiones humanas.
Fue declarado Parque Nacional el 9 de agosto de 1974. Ocupa una extensión de 51,07 km² del suroeste de la isla. Se trata de un parque de origen volcánico. Las últimas erupciones se produjeron en el siglo XVIII, entre los años 1730 y 1736. Cuenta con más de 25 volcanes, siendo algunos emblemáticos, tales como la Montaña de Fuego, Montaña Rajada o la Caldera del Corazoncillo. Aún presenta actividad volcánica, existiendo puntos de calor en la superficie que alcanzan los 100–120°C y 600°C a 13 metros de profundidad.
Este hábitat volcánico se encuentra en las primeras etapas de la sucesión ecológica (en total se encuentran unas 180 especies vegetales), por lo que es un lugar excelente para el estudio de los procesos de colonización y sucesión.
En 1993, UNESCO le otorgó la calificación de Reserva de la Biosfera a toda la isla. También es Zona de Especial Protección para las Aves (1994).
Timanfaya National Park or Parque Nacional de Timanfaya is a Spanish national park covering the municipalities of southern portion of Tinajo and the northern portion of Yaiza in the southwestern part of the island of Lanzarote. The area is 51.07 km². The parkland is entirely made up of volcanic soil. The greatest recorded eruptions occurred between 1730 and 1736. The volcanic activity continues as the surface temperature in the core ranges from 100 to 600 ºC at the depth of 13m, which is demonstrated by pouring water into the ground, resulting in a geyser of steam which is an attraction for tourists. In 1993, UNESCO granted the qualification for the Biospherical Reserve. |

I like you included the bus here.
Usually in this tour the main worry of the photographer is to avoid reflections in the glass of the window, and to avoid human artefacts in the frame.
You have chosen the opposite, turning the bus an important component of the picture, with a very good result
