[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in Lanzarote, Canary Islands. The place is called Playa Papagayo, one of the most famous beaches of the isle. Beaches in this area are beautiful, whith white sand, but, being a volcanic isle, the sand becomes black near the sea in some places.
Conerning the picture, I increased the contrast, as I liked the human figures to look like mannequins on the sand.

Hi Stefano,

A very good capture.While the shot is wide enough to give the perfect oval of the dark sea juxtaposed against the white sand..you have managed to show details of the human figures which save it from being too stark and retain an element of interest in the pic as one wants to sea what diff people are doing..A perfect balance.

Forse un pò più di luminosità del mare non avrebbe nociuto, ma la foto è cmq super e noi puntiamo sempre al massimo.

Quite a good shot here Stefano, quite artistic in the way the black water curves in against the white sand, with the coloured people spotted throughout.
