Photographer's Note

The Barranco de los Vicentillos in the south of Gran Canaria, one of the highlight of the walk between Arteara and Ayagaures (17km / 5h30min). On the right side there is water canal from the centre of the island to the dry south. On the left of the picture you can see a part of the south coast and the sea.

Good evening Rudi,
pretty picture of this volcanic mountain. The subject in itself is quite monotonous in colors so adding small details, like the serpent road and contrasting greenish-brown colors with bright blue sky definietly makes it much more attractive.

A beautiful landscape Gran Canaria . I don't know this island , but it seems a little similar to Gomera .
I like these landscapes in wet winters , when we can find some greenery on teh brown volcanic mountains .

Hello Rudi,

Wanneer men dit kan tevoet doen moet het prachtig zijn, alleen met een rugzak en wat foto matriaal wordt het zeker een stuk zwaarder.
Ik geniet zeker van uw foto's, ook omdat ik zelf daar nog nooit geweest ben.
U vindt steeds de juiste hoek waardoor we diepte en perspectief krijgen, en een prachtig zicht op de bergen, en de weg die tussen de bergen naar boven kruipt.
Mooi foto werk, bedankt.

This is a great POV on this impressive landscape. The light is very good and and gives soft colors. I like the deepness created by the distance in the valley. The sharpness is also very good.
