Photographer’s Note
This shot of massive sand dunes reminds more Sahara than Canarian Island, but picture was done at Spain, Canarian Island Fuerteventura. Be needed to say that Saharan Morocco lies just 60 miles to the east and the sand was drifted here from Africa. Whole area of dunes, featured in a number of films and pictures, is now a protected Natural Park of Corralejo.More my pictures from this palce and fascinating island Fuerteventura I putted upon my "Spain" section on TE.

hi Jiri,
I've always had soft spot for deserts, so the thumbnail immediately attracted my attention. the smooth dunes look like a silk blowing in the wind, and the textures in the foreground add just the right accent. the sky could be better, but that is not a major point. nice one.
best,
Kristine

Hi Jiri!
Wow! fantastic shot! the colours are very good and the sky complete the scene really good. Maybe, I think if you saw more sky the POV is better because the image is more long and more deep, but is a opinion. Congratulations for thos image!
Greetings from Madrid!

Hi Jiri,
You've got some great colours in this shot, and really good detail in the shadowed parts of the dunes. On top of this, there's just enough colour and clouds in the sky to give you a decent contrast against the golden dunes.
Nice shot,
Cheers
Simon
