Photographer’s Note

Natural Park of Corralejo – nice place to visit. Massive sand dunes lie on the northest part of Fuerteventura. The freshness of the crystal seas with the serenity of the sand dunes under blue sky and crystal waters of the Atlantic are true pleasure for all senses. The monochrome landscape reminds you Saharan Morocco, which lies just 60 miles to the east. Whole area of dunes, featured in a number of films is now a protected national park.

Hello Jiri,

Nice contrast between left and right side of the sky. I like the POW and compo. The bright sun light (sunrise or sunset?) makes the scene special, and the sun being so low produces shadows that gives a 3D sense. Good job.

Is strange to me saw a desert and say "man this place is beautiful", because a desert many time is consequence of the man hand over the nature. By the way the photo is impressive, gorgeous colors and depth.

hi Jiri,
as you say in the note, I first thought it was a view of the Saharan Morocco or something. I didn't know there were some desertic landscape like this in Spain.
Good blue and orange colors.

I saw this one the other day Jiri and it caught my eye again.

You've captured some beautiful light here and in this case the lack of a foreground object to focus on plays tricks on the eye which is a good effect.
