Photographer’s Note
La Pared - another photo from this phantastic place. La Pared is a small village on the west coast of Fuerteventura. The name originates from the stone wall which allegedly divided Fuerteventura in two halves. The west coast of Fuerteventura is known by very strong seas with high waves and this makes this place attractive for surfing .There are a couple of small beaches there - one of them is on my picture - and the headland has very interesting geological features.

Hi Jiri
I like this desolate scenery which contrasts with the usual built up images of the Canary Islands. The deep turquoise of the sea contrasts nicely with the dry land. The bonus is the foam of the water washing in and the tiny person showing off the scale of the place.
