Photographer’s Note

Cofete beach - one of the most isolated corners of Fuerteventura. There's something mysterious here. Deserted, solitary, lonely,15km long,with nearly 800m high mountains at background. Perfekt place for watching, thinking or marvelling. The weather is always breezy and the waves are high. Access to this area is only via small dirt tracks As you pass the highest point of the track you are rewarded with spectacular views. And exactly from this place is my picture.

Hello Jiri,
Very good image of this desolate, hidden beach, warm earth tones, winding road and the blue sea. Makes me want to visit Spain even more for its diversity and hidden places.

A fine iew of the island. The foggy clouds surrounding the cliffs make it special, all crowned by a beautifully sculpted blue sky.
