Lighthouse at Port de Sóller Photo

Photographer’s Note

There are two lighthouses at Port de Sóller, one on each spit of land that guards the well protected bay. This lighthouse is on the east side of the mouth of the bay.

It looks like a lovely place to explore, but we were unable to get close because there is a military base between the town and the lighthouse.

Sharpness, exposure and natural colors are excellent!
The pov was very well chosen too!
But the composition is the real highlight here with all the elements so perfectly placed in the frame! I love it!

I knew you had some other nice stuff of Mallorca!
Lighthouses are often an appreciated subject, at least for me. But here we have a luminous small corner of that promontory you showed before and its diagonal satisfies our eye and conveys the solar atmosphere of the place. A bright photo in all senses.

Guess what? You did everything just right here, I have not much to add, so what do I write now? Okay, I really do love it, composition is textbook perfect, all is in the right place, even the sky, you leave enough negative space to make feel nice and open and free. Good color and tone, very naturally beautiful, good balance in light and contrast. Thanks, I love to visit Spain one day. My complements.

I like the strong diagonal line on the composition created by the diferent elements. I think you had strong light but the ersult is still goed.
