Photographer's Note

Today a foto of a part of 'Sierra de Tramontana', a serie of mountains that surround Valldemossa, at the northwest of Palma de Mallorca island. This mountain range has as highest points: Puig Mayor (1445 mts), Puig de Masanella (1364 mts) and Puig Tomir (1102 mts). Other small villages and town enclosed by this moutain range are: Andrach, Fornalutx, Deya, Escorca, Pollensa, Soller, among others.
The town from where I took this picture is Vealdemossa, as I said on previous posts, is one of the most charming places of Palma de Mallorca Islands, with it's typical stone houses and narrow streets. As per the last senses Valldemossa is estimated to have 1910 inhabitants, but surely is visited by several hundreds of thousand during the whole year, such is the movement at Palma's airport.
There are surely several ways of appreciate this mountain range but surely two of the bests are by the wooden train from Palma to Soller, and the other one is by car through the sinuous road that crosses it from one side to the other.
For those who are planning to make a tryp to Mallorca this part of the Island is a great point of interest which I recommend.

I hope you enjoy the view...
