[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Winter in Mallorca was also the title of a book by George Sand abouth the winter she spent with Frederic Chopin on the island in 1838. And winter in Mallorca can be cold and wet and windy - witness the clouds. But it can also be incredibly beautiful when the sun comes out under the vlouds just before setting and throws its last rays on a typical Mallorcan scenery of a windmill and the rooftops of a small village.

This one war cropped and resized - that's all.

Hi Per,
Nice picture you post aboout a winter day at Mallorca. I have some pictures of this islands taken near 16 years ago with my first Olympus camera. Your enquadrement of the rooftops and the windmill is so well seen and nicely done. I thinks that by PP you could improve a little bit of sharpness. If your intention is a little blur vision so is quite well and fits well also in your artistic vision. Good handling of light and a nice composition so well seen and composed. Congratulations and TFS.
Fernando

Hi Per,

Very good POV with a proper field of view and great DOF. The contrast and colors are very nice and the light fantastic.

I personally like the softness in this photo, I think it adds to it character.

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Per,
Oef, a soft winter in Mallorca with lovely autumn colours, you bring us a wonderful image with the mill in background, you cropped real good.
Very nice composition and excellent colours.
Best regards,
John.

Beautiful warm tones brought forward by the afternoon sun in this one, Per. A well-balanced framing with the windmill tower at the right versus the foreground tree. I wouldn't say it necessarily has a sharpness problem but I would wish for a higher f-stop to get some incremental DOF.

Hej Per,
The warm colours of the walls against the blue clouds make a nice contrast. The composition is also good I think. Good work! :-)

This is a very nice "winter in Mallorca", and also a great mill to be compared to those from our friends from Holland.
Good colors here and a fair light on the roofs.
Well built also with the house perspective at left and the mill in a very good position.
Beautiful one

Hej Per
