Photographer’s Note
Sa Llotja (in Catalan), or La Lonja (in Spanish), is the building of the former Bourse, and one of the masterpieces of gothic architecture in Mallorca.
It was built in the early 15th century, it was a witness of the commercial success of the Port of Palma, as an important meeting point for traders and sailors.
George Sand describes it in her book "A winter in Majorca" (she spent the winter of 1838-9 in Palma with her lover, Frederic Chopin): "La Lonja is the building that I've liked the most due to its elegant proportions and its original character, without excluding its perfect regularity and its austerity full of good taste"
I've specially liked the decorations on the upper part of the gothic windows.

hi daniel,
to me this photo is an example of when "too many cooks spoil the milk"...the palm shadow is that "too many cook" in thi scase...other than that - you exploited the tremendous light very well...
