Arriving Late Photo

Photographer’s Note

A class of about 30 kids was visiting this castle, I had been waiting patiently until they went upstairs and left the central courtyard empty, with those arches and shadows.

And then, this boy, who had arrived late, or left behind in the ground floor, ran through the circular shapes to join his group.

Even without this boy this would have been a good shot.Now with him it`s a great composition.Good depth and I like the shadows of these arches.

Great timing with the almost airborne boy, I like the shadows of the arches. and the subjects are well positioned.

curves always look nice in a picture, they add so much life and dynamics. Here you have curves in all three dimensions, and as a surplus, the vivid child. Perfect composition..

Very well taken shot, exposure correct great compositon as well. Then you get the boy running in as well just to give a sense of scale, again well done
