[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is just a simple shot of field taking during a cycling trip in Mallorca. The reason for the shot was that it was so lovely to see a field full of flowers on the second day of the year (although Mallorca has a mild Mediterranean climate, the beginning of January is undisputedly winter in the northern hemisphere). And the reason I post it here is that it is an example of one of the first things I learned on TrekEarth: When shooting a landscape, get as far down as you possibly can while still showing the landscape. That way you achieve depth, and with a bit of luck even a bit of detail of whatever is in the foreground.

After resizing I sharpened a bit and added the frame.

Hi Per,

Very nice photo with good colors and great exposure. The point of view is very good, too.

Regarding composition, maybe I would consider cropping the lower part of the image (about one third of the actual photo).

Thus you would get a 'panorama like' feeling, and there seems to be more flowers as from that point.

I understand your choice for this picture. The little yellow flowers are so lovely. You have to immortalize such a scene and want to share it with everybody. Only the sweet smell can’t be shared on internet.

Nice and sunny shot from Mallorca. I like the colour-contrast between the blue sky and the yellow flowers. Good work!

I agree with your note, Per, and I also like this view very much, because it has depth, colour and perspective and the result is a very pleasant composition!

This comes very well on the sceen, full of srong colors and details. This beautiful and tempered place is avery nnice one. It is through such picture that we take the natural dimention for some places.
