Photographer's Note

Ribadesella (Asturian: Ribesella) is a small municipality in the Autonomous Community of the Principality of Asturias.
Known for its location on the Cantabrian Sea, as well as for the outlet of the River Sella, Ribadesella is a town that forms part of the Picos de Europa .
It is bordered on the east by Llanes, on the south by Cangas de Onís and Parres, and on the west by Caravia.
The first weekend of August, the famous Descenso Internacional del Sella takes place, where oarsmen from all over the world gather to attempt the final 20 km of the Sella River in record time.
This town is also known for its prehistoric caves, known as the caves of Tito Bustillo, which are open to visitors year round.
Ribadesella also offers history, sport activities, beautiful scenery, nature, and impeccable food, which makes this an important spot in the sides of the most famous river of Asturias.

la tua è una composizione ben equilibrata nella quale domina il colore con netta predominanza dei toni del rosso. Molto buona la nitidezza.
Unico piccolo difetto una leggera pendenza sulla destra che potresti eliminare con facilità.
Una bella immagine di questa regione della Spagna quasi sconosciuta in Italia.

Ciao Eleni
la chiesa presenta un'architettura un pò diversa da quelle a cui sono abituato e per questo colpisce la mia attenzione.
Colori un pò saturi, ma non eccessivi, il pov è interessante, ma ci sono troppe abitazioni per poter osservare meglio la chiesa.

Allô Eleni!
Très jolie vue sur les toits de la ville et sa magnifique église je crois avec ses deux clochers, ta note n'en fait pas mention. Excellent éclairage et merveilleuse harmonie de couleurs. Je remarque une petite inclinaison mais ça n'enlève rien à la beauté de la photo.

nice tight frame and interesting POV. Great colors despite of the lack of the sun. Very successful composition and good idea to make two adverse corners both green :-) Interesting note, too.

Ciao Eleni, bella vista di una dliziosa cittadina dominata dalla piacevole architettura della chiesa dal doppio campanile, in verità un po' pendente, buono il POV e piacevole la composizione, anche se da un po' fastidio la vegetazione in primo piano, non è tra le tue migliori,comunque grazie per farci visitare virtualmente questi paesini altrimanti sconosciuti, buon week end, ciao Silvio

Hi Eleni,
The straight twin toers of the church are perfectly position at the third of the picture. The surrounding red roofs provide good colours. A very beautiful view over the sea!

I am agree with Romano, the picture tilt a little bit, see the horizon of the sea.
I like the two towers with the statue between the towers.
Sharpness and clarity are very nice.
Your composition and colors make these picture very attractive.

You've found here an excellent POV on the til roofs of teh village and the attractive church with its double bell tower . The light , even poor , is pleasant and well captured .

Hello Eleni,

A good colourful picture of Ribadesella. The Spanish green coast and the Picos de Europa are 2 regions I want to visit, but I am afraid of the weather in the mountains and I think there is no coastpath for walkers. If there are long stretches of coastpaths you may always tell me where along the coast. I hope you will post other pictures of this region in the next days,

Beautiful red roof-tops and double-turrets church on coastal town.
Perfect composition(and the one remark about a "diffeto" know not to disregard an element that is always be there and a part of town).
Fine composition, contrast and light were great, inspite the cloudy day.

όμορφη η πανοραμική θεα των σπιτιών που περιτριγυρίζουν την εκκλησία που δεσπόζει της περιοχής αυτής της πόλης.Το ιδιαίτερο και ψηλό καμπαναριό προκαλεί το βλέμμα του επισκέπτη όπως φυσικά και του φωτογράφου.

Hola Eleni !!
hay que linda foto, enseguida me llamo la attention esta pared frontal color mostaza, que bien que se la ve al lado de los techos colorados.Todo lindo en Espana.
Ahora un pequeño detalle, la foto esta un poco inclinada hacia la derecha, se nota por las dos torres y también por la linea que separa el agua del cielo, cuando yo comencé en TE me hicieron la misma corrección hasta que aprendí a corregirlo,Avisame si necesitas ayuda.

You have such good shooting angle from this elevated pov, its an eyecatching view this old town has to offer and the roof scape is sure attractive enough for a shot like this. They are indeed unique and compact with its unique traditional architecture and no wonder the stunning red roof catches your attention. Lighting is fine, briliiant coloring and liven by fresh looking foliage making this looks so pleasing and charming. The towers provide the strong focal. Superb effort and very well done shot. When I see writen Asturias ever remember Durango. All that vatity deserves to be explored. This city certainly offers to the visiter whatever is new. This photo shows the local church and cannot imagine how is it near the sea bank. Warm regards. Tomi
