Photographer's Note

Puerto de Vega is one of eight parishes (administrative divisions) in Navia, a municipality within the province and autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.
It is one of the whaling ports of the 16th-18th centuries, with spectacular beaches that make you feel like a real seafarer amidst the fish markets, coastal chapels and lighthouses.
Puerto de Vega is a fishing port, but throughout its history was one of the most active commercial harbors in the region with its stunning estuaries and the spectacle of the Cantabrian Sea as it crashes relentlessly into the cliffs.
A scene not to be missed is the one from the Antalya Viewpoint in El Franco.
Stories of ancient settlements, their inhabitants and the sea are revealed by the locals to this date.

Blue lines on the building and blue boats are marvelous in contrast to white and some red tones, Eleni.
The place is charmig view of the marina, taken with good clarity and other details.

Hello Eleni,

We get a nice view about the fisher port, with a nice building in background.
Also a good view about the different small boats in foreground.
Excellent depth and perspective picture
Composition makes the picture attractive.

Hi Eleni,
I notice that is is a summer picture, but I gett a certain feeling of cold weather here. There is something in the colour tones that brings this association to me. There is still a very calm and peaceful mood here in this picture.

Seeming like same place with previous ones but maybe a different place. Sharp and clear image even though the condition was not so good. Building and sevreal ships are well marked up among the image, very good effect. Thank you for your sharing and have a good Sat.

Excellent image of the boats in the harbour what a stunning place for a visit - I love harbours & boats - As a child my dad used to take me out on many types of small boats, cabin cruisers, catamarans etc;
The colours & clarity also the content are excellent.
