Photographer’s Note

Cantabric Mountains in Asturias (Northern Spain). This mountains chain runs along the the northern Spain Coast and joins the Pyrenees at its Eastern top. The highest point of this mountains (Picos de Europa, 43.209 N and 4.815 W) is located 50 miles east of this place where mountains reach a maximum of 2600 meters high. Its climate is highly humid and cloudy due to the proximity of Ocean Coast so clear skies are quite uncommon.

You have chosen a very good vantage point to present this beautiful area in northern Spain. The humidity is palpable with the heavy clouds enveloping the mountaintops. The cool colors dominate the scene. Well composed and exposed. Warm regards,

Despite the cloudy sky your shot is very light and colorful. The composition is perfectly good with green FG, blue water, marvelous green and blue mountains and nice sky. Very good job!
