The light of Alberto Photo

Photographer’s Note

Yesterday, when the nominations for the Oscars were announced, for the first time a spanish music composer, Alberto Iglesias had been nominated in the category of Original Soundtrack for a wonderful movie called "The constant gardener".
I´m very happy for him, not because he´s spaniard ( I´m not a nacionalist person at all), but because he´s a very good musician that deserve an international recognition like this one. He has also worked a lot with Pedro Almodóvar and Julio Medem two of the most personal moviemakers in this corner of the world.
Alberto was born in the norht of Spain, in San Sebastián, a wonderfull city you can see here. This photo is not this place, but has something in commun, this black light that undoubtely has contributed to create the personal world in music of mister Alberto. Congratulations!

i think it's a great tribute to Alberto, i hope he wins, i am a big fan of Spanish movies too bad Obaba did not make it, anyhow salute to great Spanish movie makers, the likes of Almodovar and Amenabar.

Hola Miguel, me gusta mucho, la foto tiene un "no se qué" que te transmite paz, tranquilidad... Además está muy bien compuesta, y la luz refleja ese momento mágico en que las luminosidades de tierra y cielo se igualan.

Foto con un toque dramático y fatalista. Es la típica que aparece justo antes de un tremendo chaparrón. Te mojaste mucho?

Sobre la foto...el POV es genial. Me gusta mucho así como los colores y las nubes.

Es una bellisima foto. Vaya ojo que tienes para lograr cielos espectaculares. El contraste del edificio con el mar y esas nubes amenazadoras forman una perfecta combinación.

Acertaste con tu pronóstico (y yo me equivoqué, entre otras cosas, al vaticinar un único John Williams).

Bueno, simplemente decir que la foto es buena. La composición y la luz juegan a favor de la foto y... y es buena. Se puede decir más alto, pero no sé si más alto.
