This is the San Juan de la Peņa monastery, located in Huesca province some 20 kms (12,5 ml.) away from Jaca. The monastery was built in a cave under a cliff. Its origin is dated in the X century and the three first kings of the ancient Kingdom of Aragon were buried here. This place is a part of the road to Saint James.

Hi Fernando.
A nice composition for this ancient monastery, including the road passing at his feet. Good saturation and sharpness.
Best regards.
Bobo.
Hi, Fernando,
Nice turn on this road and nice building. I like the way it goes into the rock to make a whole.
Interesting structure
