The Water Tower (Spanish: Torre del Agua) is a 76-metre-high tower built at the Expo 2008 site in Zaragoza, Spain. It was designed by Enrique de Teresa and constructed of concrete, steel and glass.
It consists of a transparent structure erected in a droplet-of-water shape over a big three-storey basement. It provides 10,400 accessible square metres, 3,300 square metres in the basement’s floor and the remainder divided between the ramps and flat lands inside the glass tower. There is a 720 m² panoramic bar in the uppermost floor with views over the exposition site and the city.
During Expo 2008, the building hosted the Water for Life exposition.

Good Morning Juan,
Your crop of the building has produced a fine composition, which juxtaposes the straight and curved lines in a most eye-catching way. The textural details add to the overall effect, standing out well against the clear blue sky.
Have a lovely Sunday,

Nice crop of this tower Juan.
All the key elements of line and shape that seem like waves of water make this a great abstract of this building. A Juan classic!

this is just like a wave of water so it is aptly named. This crop makes the effect all the more distinct and pitched against a clear blue sky it just looks so beautiful. Glorious curves and light enhance the effect superbly. Stunning imagery!
Enjoy your Sunday - Brian.

and I thought I missed another highlight in Bareclona, good it´s in Zaragoza:)
again we get to see how captivating can be the combination of steel and glass and...again we see your perfect intuition for this kind of subjects.Perfect close-up and framing.I don´t know if you took it from below and than processed it,but the symmetry is superb. And this is quite important in such pictures(if I only managed to capture so flawless one of the facades in HK).
Magnificent shot and nice color scheme of it-metallic tones against blue sky-great!
Wish You a pleasant sunday

J'aime la répétition des formes qui donne un ensemble très graphique. L'image est bien cadrée et l'espace laissé au bleu du ciel très intéressant.

Nice graphical shot here
I prefer the right part of the image than the left though

Wow, Juan, what a great POV! Instantly clear why this building has the name it does - there's a flow and a liquid feel to these lines. The light giving the balconies a glow is wonderful. A perfect detail to pick out from this structure. Bravo!

Impressive architecture and excellent way to bring it out.
Your vertical framing enhances the graphical effect, and plays wonderfully with the curves.

Hello Juan - The way you have captured this reminds me of an ever-descending spiral, quite amazing architecture and I like the fact that you have reduced the building into an abstract slice of curves and angles. To my mind you could lay the shot horizontally and the shot would work equally as well. fascinating! warm regards Rosemary

Juan, well-cropped photo leaving us with the wonderful geometry of this building. The contrast between the white walkways and the dark glass is really pretty stark. The curves on the right side are very pretty against the clear blue sky. Thanks.

TFS JFS !
