Photographer’s Note
Historical reenactment in Saragossa. In 1808-09 the Napoleon's Grand Armée invaded Spain and one of the key points of the spanish resistance was Saragossa, the capital of Aragon. Without garrison or fortified walls, its inhabitants resisted more than four months the attacks of the best army in the world. Only when an epidemic had decimated the defenders, the capitulation was signed.
