Photographer’s Note

For some Albarracín represents the prettiest village in Spain. You are just a few miles of Teruel, by a very beautiful way by the nature reserve, Albarracín seems to belong to another era, quieter and insulation than the current ones.

Albarracín is a people whose strategic importance is reflected in historic buildings and other traces still present today. Its narrow streets, their houses and walls form a historical artist.

Another charm of Albarracín derives from the surroundings, because the town is located in an area of extraordinary natural beauty and interest, the mountains of Albarracín which includes the National Reserve Hunting of the Universal Forestry. The mountains belonging to the Forestry are watered by numerous streams and major rivers like the Guadalaviar, Cabriel and Cuervo. Besides the birth of emblematic Tagus river is next to Frias Albarracín.

History Albarracín: Thanks to its strategic point, Albarracín was inhabited by various civilizations, and still retains traces of many of them. Have cave paintings of the Paleolithic eras, deposits of the Iberian, a acaducto Roman and Moorish remains of buildings, as the Citadel and the Tower of Andador.
