Photographer’s Note
Cerler (Sarllé en aragonés) es un núcleo de población perteneciente al municipio de Benasque considerado el pueblo más alto del Pirineo aragonés por hallarse enclavado a 1.540 metros de altitud.
Consta de un pequeño casco antiguo perfectamente conservado, y de un ensanche con numerosos bloques de apartamentos y hoteles. El turismo de invierno, puesto que dispone de una estación de esquí alpino de Aramón Cerler, el turismo rural y la restauración son las bases económicas del pueblo.
En la carretera que se dirige a la estación de esquí se encuentra un acuartelamiento de alta montaña del ejército de tierra.
Estación de esquí
Cerler es la estación más alta del Pirineo aragonés. Situada en el valle de Benasque, alcanza los 2.630 metros de altura en su mítica cima de Gallinero, lo que lo convierte en el centro invernal pirenaico con mayor desnivel esquiable: 1.130 metros.
La belleza paisajística de la estación, rodeada de más de 60 picos que superan los 3.000 metros de altura, hace de Cerler una estación con un extraordinario encanto natural.
Sus pistas y remontes se reparten a lo largo de dos valles: Cerler y Ampriu. En ambos, el esquiador encuentra todos los servicios necesarios para una cómoda estancia en la estación. Remontes que eliminan filas de espera, una amplia oferta gastronómica y un moderno sistema de innivación artificial de 365 cañones aseguran el disfrute de la nieve desde el primero hasta el último día de la temporada de esquí.

On the road that goes to the ski resort is a high mountain encampment of the army.

Cerler ski resort is the highest in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Situated in the valley of Benasque, reaches 2630 meters in height at its peak of mythical House, making it the center with more wintry Pyrenean ski slope: 1130 meters.

Charo, you have some dreamy images flowing now. The colors and the shadows in this beautiful composition really make for a great landscape.. I would think it is not going to be long before the slopes are covered with skiers. Great capture.

Allô Charo!
Tu vogues dans le hauteur et tu nous trouves de magnifiques paysage de neige. Belle montagne de pierre, on voit que les arbres sont courts à cette hauteur. Bel éclairage et beau contraste de couleurs avec le beau ciel bleu. Nous sommes presque voisin aujourd'hui.

Hola Charo,
estas vistas durante un día soleado son especialmente luminosas y bonitas, gracias al esplendor de la nieve tan blanca y limpia.
El Pico Cerler, que en verano lo subimos en família, ya que el telesilla del Ampriu te deja en un collado muy cerca de la cumbre y tiene un acceso fácil, es un mirador magnífico sobre Cerler, Benasque y todo su valle, y de toda la cadena de los Montes Malditos, desde el Perdiguero hasta el Pico Russell, pasando por la Maladeta y el Aneto, al que también he ascendido.
Me gusta tu foto, es fresca y brillante, con una luz preciosa que nos regala bonitas sombras sobre el paisaje.

Gosto muito desta paisagem de inverno em que os contrastes estão excelentes e o PdV muito bonito. Aquele traço do avião no céu bem polarizado, deu mais um ponto de interesse à foto.

please excuse me for writing to you in english today but my headache is killing me and it would take me ages to get together a few sentences in spanish.
The photo is wonderful. Pure delight combined of white snow and hypnotic blue sky mixing togethet through blue shadows. Two "curves"...one down the hill on the left of white snow and other up the hill on right of dark trees create wonderful "circle" embracing warm textures of captured peak.
Excellently composed and presented.

C'est une image toute récente et toute fraîche. C'est aussi une jolie description de la montagne, avec des couleurs et une lumière que l'on ne peut avoir qu'en altitude. Un beau travail agréable.

Impresionante foto de la montana cubierta de nieve captada con un color blanco muy vivo y el cual contrasta muy bien con el azul del cielo, las áreas iluminadas y de sombras hacen un buen juego y la casa de madera es una excelente inclusión en tu foto. Tu POV es muy bueno igual que tu definición, marco y composición. Estupendas fotos en tu WS.

The white and blue work well together .. I like how they are broken by the warm stone .. I like the scale the lift and hut give .. nice sense of space thanks to just enough of that peak behind .. tough range of shadow to deal with .. very nice. take care, John
