Photographer’s Note
It speaks volumes to the dense richness of sights in Sevilla that only on our third day in Sevilla did I wander over to the Guadalquivir river. It is less than 1 km west from the cathedral to reach the banks of the river. I walked both banks between Puente San Telmo and Puente de Isabel II Triana and then further northward along the west bank to Puente del Cachorro.
The river is well integrated into the life of the city. It is navigable all the way to the Atlantic, about 80 km away. The area where I walked is lined by bicycling and walking paths. People were out in abundance and I saw several rowers making their way up or downstream.
The picture shows a view of Puente de Isabel II Triana, looking in a northwesterly direction from the east bank of the river. The lovely towers on the far side of the bridge are the Capilla del Carmen, a small chapel built in 1928.
The bridge was designed and engineered by Gustavo Steinacher and Ferdinand Bernadet and constructed ca 1850. It crosses the river near midtown Sevilla.

Hi William, nice composition here, with a diagonal view of the bridge and the bycicles on the front. Chau chau,

Hi William.
Good composition with a good DOF and also a nice perspective. The light looks nice and the whole photo is very interesting.
Well done.

Hi William,
What I particularly like about this composition is the contrast between the sleek, modern rowing shell and the ornate old bridge. Excellent light management gives good detail throughout with no hint of OE.
