Malaga is not very popular with tourists, probably regarded mainly as the starting point to the beaches of Costa del Sol. But it is a nice city and has a lot to offer.
Here the scene captured under the the cathedral when I walked around in the evening. I seem quite invisible, the guys paid no attention to the old woman.
City of flamenco: at the University of Malaga there is Flamencology Department.
Picasso : The Museo Picasso Málaga is only 200 metres from the Plaza de La Merced, where Pablo Picasso Ruiz was born, and is located in the Calle San Agustín, to which Picasso and his family had no small connection. Although he moved away from Málaga at the age of 10, Picasso went to nursery school on that street, and his father José Ruiz Picasso was curator of the city museum in the old town hall, also on that street.

A very nice informal street scene. I like the clutter on the right (somehow it makes the photograph seem more authentic and unposed/spontaneous). And of course it echoes your title. Your "invisibility" has paid dividends here.

I have heard of and listened to Flamenco music on YouTube. Are these Flamenco guitarists? You framed an excellent street shot, spontaneous and with fine sharpness. Some of the pictures on the right do look like Picasso prints.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day.

Fine street scene. Those artists are bringing joy to the atmosphere. Well seen.

Fajna scenka uliczna z dobrym wyczuciem czasu i miejsca. Te gitary, choc obecne na calym swiecie, jakos zawsze kojarza mi sie z Hiszpania.

A daily life scene very full of life and vitality with the musicians and the colourful paintings.
Your angled approach gives a very natural flow to the scene.
I just wondered if the painter, in the b/g, was tired of the music as he has turned is back on the events and placed a pillar between himself and the others!
Have a lovely day,

A very nice street scene with the guitarists in action. The collection of art near the guitarist adds a nice touch to the scene.

An appealing street scene full of atmosphere. Captured from a very good point of view and benefiting from excellent colours and sharpness. There seems to be another lady sat hiding behind the pillar, one wonders what she is up to:-)

now this looks like a little bit more sophisticated than the usual street musicians I see in London and Brighton. Wonderfully candid shot full of style and intrigue. Superb!

J'aime beaucoup cette scčne de rue. J'entends presque la musique, le glissement des doigts sur les cordes de guitare.Les tableaux complčtement bien l'ensemble.

Well spotted and taken

Lovely picture, unluckily without the sound of the music. Most people seem to enjoy the music, but what is the man behind the pillar doing?

That's the advantage of getting old and grey: nobody pays any attention so we can sneak photos without being noticed :-). I am sure I could have found very similar views like this in Warsaw, Munich, Stockholm or anywhere. Street musicians and amateur paintings know no borders. Maybe there would be less flamenco in Warsaw, but the paintings would look as bad :-)
The photo, on the other hand, looks very good.

Tacy miejscowi muzycy tworzą całkiem niezły nastrój miast, a najczęściej wiedzą jak wykorzystać swoje (czasami egzotyczne) instrumenty, dobrze złapana scenka

Very nice atmosphere of the art company. It makes me smile and brings to my Spanish trips again. I hope to visit Andalucia someday too.
See you soon!
