Photographer's Note

Lamp and detail of the painted brickwork from an outside wall of the Iglesia de Los Marites (Church Of The Martyrs) in the City of Malaga Spain. The temple was built in the 16th century, in a Gothic-Mudejar style. It is dedicated to the local martyrs San Ciriaco and Santa Paula.

The lamp is a simple subject , but with the graphism of the brick wall , this is an attractive picture , well framed in this square format .

Hello Brian,
An excellent close-up on this elegant lamp. However, the lovely brickwork in the background also has a major part to play in the success of the composition; bringing contrasting graphical lines and some beautiful tones and textures. All helped by the perfect lighting. Very well seen and superbly realised. Have a great weekend.

I noticed this photo yesterday, and i was wondering if the TE world would fully appreciate it - I don't think people have.
It deserves more.
just look at the glass surface, we can see the textured ridges, its awesome.
and I like how you paid close attention to the angular lines coming out of the bottom left corner.
wonderful details in this HDR looking photo.
