Hello friends and colleagues, today I present a view of the castle Cazorla on the south of the Square Log, with mountains in the background, façade villa Cazorla is located south of the Sierra and the same name National Park, I hope you like it, then some letters on the villa.
Cazorla is a municipality located east of the province of Jaén, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It is the largest and capital municipality of the Shire Sierra de Cazorla. It is located in the foothills of the Sierra de Cazorla, in the valley of Cerezuelo River, a tributary of the Guadalquivir. Around 2,000 BC, in the oldest river terraces Cerezuelo Cazorla, the first stable settlements were established. Near here, on a hill known as the Hill of Bellotón, a small town in the culture of Bronze (1500 BC.) Is located. The Ibera culture developed significantly in these lands. During the romanization, the Romans settled in this region, known as "Saltus Tugiensis" named their saws as "Mons Argentarius" the riches of silver and salt found here. The Roman presence is extensive in the county, and even found some important remains within the current town of Cazorla. During the Muslim occupation, both Cazorla and neighboring localities will strengthen, as indicated by archaeological findings. The Lordship of Cazorla during the Middle Ages was a border area of great importance. Evidence of this is the dense network of castles and fortresses to delimit the Advancement created in 1231 with the donation of the town of Quesada and villages by Ferdinand III the prelate of Toledo. In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries litigation between the Crown and the Mitre by issues of jurisdiction, privileges and rents that impoverished the Lordship originated. In 1811, the Cadiz abolished the civil jurisdiction of the Mitra Toledana on these lands, although not happen the same with the church. Cazorla and other towns and villages continue Overtaking dependent archbishopric of Toledo until 1954 during the war of independence, the people of this district were distinguished for their patriotism, fighting heroically against the invader. Remains of the rawness of the moment, are the ruins of the cathedral of Santa Maria, which was destroyed and never finished completely, the invader. As a reward for services so high, the Parliament of Cadiz, granted, on April 1, 1813 to the town of Cazorla, the title of city with the distinction of "Very Noble and Very Loyal". Later Alfonso XII Cazorla rewarded loyalty to the Crown, when the Carlist Wars, giving his Excellency Hall category.

Bello scatto, molto suggestivo.

Two completely contrasting styles of architecture to be observed in the villa and the castle, but both have a certain elegance and are very interesting in their own right. They sit well against that rugged mountain backdrop. Fine technical realisation.

I like very much the way you composed and framed this view. In an elegant vertical frame you included the architectural, historical and natural character of this place very effectively. There's great sense of depth, details and textures are superb. I also like the smooth transition from one area of interest to another, despite the lighting contrasts and challenges. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,

The vertical format is perfect here allowing us to see the foreground architecture and the old tower and mountains in the BG. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has excellent sharpness and detail.

The setting of the small town is fabulous, immediately surrounded by high mountain peaks.
The picture shows interesting architecture as well as a sublime mountain scenery.
Good sense of depth.
Best regards, Paul

williewhistler (12733) 2014-08-10 10:23
the upright format works very well allowing us to see the castle nicely sandwiched between the towering mountains and the modern buildings in the FG.
Best wishes Les.

Quite a lovely view to behold, and a most pleasant mixture of elements. Plus, you had some really nice lighting to accentuate the dimension of everything contained within this frame. I also like the fact you left some space along the top of the frame for the rugged mountain top to be fully detailed against the sky. Appears to be a well thought out and solid composition on all accounts! Enjoy the new week. Take good care.
berek (34225) 2014-08-10 19:51
beautiful vertical, composed on different floors and each floor a topic related to a different historical period.
It's as if you had enclosed the history of this place in a single photo.
Beautiful shot, very impressive.

Hola amigo Angel.
Buen trabajo. Me encanta.

A comprehensive view from the pavement level up to the tops of the the mountain, with intense view of the rocks.
Archi. design and a modern wooden shades, decorated with green plants and trees, and most attractive is the ancient tower prominently above town houses.
Well premeditated photo.

Gran trabajo, cordiales saludos

What an expressive 'grandeur' is depicted with rigorous verticals on both sides of frame; this impression of absolute magnitude is conveyed by the building's historic elegance that 'makes friend' with the towering backdrop for an appealing piece of art!
