Photographer’s Note

Before I forget that I have an account in TE, I decided to post something. I have been learning how to survive without internet for the last 3 months and found out that are plenty of funny things to do without being in front of a computor ;-)
Right now I'm in Portugal, but in September I'll return definately to Spain and hope to be back here in full time.

This is a view of Albaicín in Granada, as seen from Sacromonte. For me, the best views of the city are from up here. To the left of what you see here, there's a fascinating view of Alhambra and Sierra Nevada mountain. The two men on the right are locals that must live in Sacromonte. Some minutes before they were talking in the 'patio' while the one with the white shirt was showing the paintings he carries with him.

Albaicín was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
If you're spending just a couple of days in Granada it's hard to resist spending both of them in the Alhambra. You shouldn't miss, however, the run-down medieval streets of the Albaicín, Spain's largest and most characteristic surviving Moorish barrio, or the cave-quarter of the Sacromonte extending up from the Río Darro.
