Hello friends and colleagues, today I present this interesting building Pampaneira beautiful villa, in the region of the Alpujarra, in the ground floor houses a craft shop and a restaurant which also occupies the first floor, the other floors seems which are used as dwellings, construction is an interesting diversity of design and materials used on the facade, as an example we can see that the parapet of the terrace of the first floor is factory lattice, and the second floor terrace is metal railing, there are also differences between the textures of the first and second floor, in the end I found an example of building popular in this part of the province of Granada, also has the colorful folk art of the area. Pampaneira is a Spanish municipality belonging to the province of Granada. It is located in Poqueira ravine in the central-western part of the Costa Tropical, about 66 km from the provincial capital. It borders the municipalities of Bubión, Capileira, La Taha, Órgiva, Carataunas and Soportújar. Much of the municipality belongs to the Sierra Nevada National Park and Historic Ensemble of Poqueira Gorge.

When the Kingdom of Granada surrendered to the Catholic Monarchs, many residents took refuge in the Alpujarras and continued for almost eighty years with their customs, religion and language. They were the Moors of Granada, who endured in their rugged mountains, until Don John of Austria, special envoy of King Philip II, ended with the violent war existed.
The subsequent depopulation was full and had to repopulate the land with Castilian alpujarreñas but especially Galicia and Leon, in an edict of 1487 was said to participate in this noble Granada War get redemption for his crimes. It was, therefore, a pressing invitation made to the nobility and their servants to abandon enrolaran Galicia and in the campaign, and they did. Pampaneira continentalizado has a Mediterranean climate due to the altitude at which it is (more than 1000m) and being in the foothills of Sierra Nevada (3482m). That means it has cold winters, where it is not uncommon to have snow and ice, and a little warm summers, with extreme maximum above 35 degrees but below 40 degrees. Temperatures are softened by the presence of the Mediterranean Sea. Rainfall is variable and even abundant, with drought period in summer and cold drop in autumn.

Ahhh now this is a place I would love to visit. Seeing (and buying) the local handicrafts of a country are one of the reasons why I travel. Beautiful colours and framing. The building itself is very attractive and you have handled the difficult light extremely well.

Hola Angel !!
la forma de este edificio en una esquina me llamo la atencion, tiene un corte angular muy pronunciado..... pero se lo ve lindo y muy apropiado para ser negocio en la parte de abajo.Lo que mas me gusta son los balcones y las lajas en el piso.
La foto esta muy bien tomaday veo que le pusiste un marco bien elavorado.
una ves mas...... dan ganas de llegar a ese lugar a conocerlo mejor....
